Did you ever wonder, "What would happen if I add dye to soy wax resist?" Find out all the exciting possibilities in this workshop. Soy wax is a renewable resource and combines with MX dyes to produce fabulous results - intricate patterns with the staying power of the dyes and an ease of wash-out unmatched by other resists. Three applications will be explored: crayons, which are perfect for rubbings, drawing and writing; hot, colored wax, ideal for stamping and direct application and wax paste, perfect for stenciling. The workshop includes ample open studio time for experimentation with all three applications. These techniques are the result of over 2 years of exploration and experimentation.
