Textile artist Carol Larson learned to sew at nine and has since interwoven her love of fiber, color and texture into her life. Today she integrates vintage linens with complex cloth onto which she applies multiple layers of dye, paint, soy wax and screen-printing. She is never far from a camera lens capturing pattern & shape which become imagery sources. Layers of stitching complete each piece.
Her work is installed in several permanent corporate art collections as well as many private collections and exhibited in museums & galleries worldwide. She is an artist member of the ACCI Gallery in Berkeley, CA .
