My name is Chris Gray, and my company's name is Mabon Arts. I'm a textile artist, who is inspired by tribal textiles and embroidery, and most of the pieces I make reflect these inspiration sources.

I design and make wall panels, and, in more recent times items of jewelry.

I dye both fabrics and threads for creative embroidery, and produce stitching kits for cross-stitch and punchneedle.

Having worked in education for a number of years, I also run textile workshops covering a variety of techniques, along with writing textile related articles for a number of national magazines.
