Two friends with shared enthusiasms for horticulture and animals decided to acquire a couple of sheep. "I could spin" said Margaret. "I have pasture" said Linda. When Linda first got her hands into a raw fleece, a whole new adventure was born.
Always a passionate artist, Linda has been drawing and painting her whole life and immediately recognized her new medium. Her canvas is now handmade felt with incredible depth and texture; her paintbrush is a needlefelting needle; and her palette is homegrown fleece in natural and hand-dyed colours. The view from her workroom window now features a flock of sixteen purebred Shetland sheep.
Margaret and Linda work together in a unique collaboration creating one of a kind pocket purses and other accessories. Margaret does the sewing, prepares and dyes the fleeces, and spins.
