In Hebrew, Gil is joy and Gilgul is rolled up, metamorphosis or reincarnation.
Gilgulim is the essence of what I do; I roll my beads with joy and give new life to materials no longer needed by their owners.
As a textile designer, I love fabrics that relate the history and stories of women. Garments and fabrics represent culture, society, morals and ancient knowledge.
I am one woman in a long chain of women, who uses a needle and thread to combine colors and textures to spin more stories.
