I have been quilting for over 27 years since I was an exchange student in High School in the United States. After I turned to modern quilt design I discovered and fell in love with hand-dyed fabrics, then quickly started dyeing my own fabrics and have been working with hand-dyed fabrics exclusively since. It seemed only natural to make these available to others. My fabric club for hand-dyed fabrics is sent out bi-monthly, six assorted colours, in a package size of your choice. Special effect fabrics include ice-cube dyed fabrics, and snow-dyed fabrics (weather permitting...). And you can buy hand-dyed fabric by the meter, of course. Check it out on my website. In my quilts I explore the multiple possibilities of interaction of lines and color, and have also turned to special effects that are created by introduction of non-textile materials.
