I am very proud to inform you that this project was presented in Chelsea Art Museum (NYC) during the exhibition of Model Citizens NYC 2011.

In my work I combine the traditional old technique of needlepoint with a freshness of modern design.
Realization of my each project involves laborious, patient and precise covering by hand of canvas with stitches.
As every of my works is handmade, it makes it absolutely unique and one of the kind.
To obtain the front pattern of the tote you can see on the photo I have to embroider on the cotton canvas 19 747 stitches by hand.

I use the pure wool in my work; the pattern is offblack and the background is light gray.

The back and the straps are dark grey and made of the woolen fabric.

The bag is nicely finshed by stiff cotton inside. I used the black and white checked fabric for it.
I also made two small and very useful pockets: one (4,3"x2,4") for your mobile and second which is zipped (4,7"x4,3"), for bigger stuff.
