Corespun Yarn in Natural Fibers and Natural Colors by KnoxFarmFiber

Product Description

A skein with Big Yarn attitude!

Corespinning involves spinning handsful of fiber around a core string.

In this skein there are several types of wool (Churro, Shetland, Merino, East Frisian--thank you Sandy-- and our own flock) plus mohair from our Benny and llama from Clarissa, all spun around a central blue turquoise cotton string. All of the fiber is its natural color--shades of greys and browns plus white and cream and black. There is also just a little bit of Racka/hemp fiber from Hungary--see fibrillaria.etsy.com

I can make this yarn with a variety of color in the cotton string. Let me know your preference.

The skein has 62 yards and is quite bulky. It weighs 5.8 oz.

You'll need big needles or hooks for this skein---start with size 15 needles for knitting, but you will surely do better with even larger ones. Work loosely so the fiber is not tight.

Use it to embellish a project or just on its own in a scarf or lariat.

Thanks from all of us at KnoxFarmFiber.
