I make flower and leaf bowls using hand-dyed fabric layered with a synthetic stiffener. I stitch leaf and flower veins with trilobal polyester thread and use metallic thread for the flower stamens. These bowls may be used to hold a wide range of items, including wrapped candy, cocktail napkins, and guest towels and soaps, or they can be used as sculpture.
