The blues and greens of the lake and the pines draw me in….. once again I weave with those colors! This luxurious hand woven scarf has a lustrous sheen. I wove it in a pattern with a luminous quality, like ripples on the lake sparkling in the sunshine.
The fibers come from renewable resources …. from bamboo and from soy, a byproduct of the tofu manufacturing process. The warp (lengthwise) is bamboo and the weft is soysilk.
The scarf is lightweight and can be worn in all seasons.
Generously sized at 10 3/4” x 72 1/2 ” (27 cm x 184 cm), it is finished with hand hemstitching and with an additional 4” (10 cm) of hand-twisted fringe.
