The art is raw edged applique and machine stitched. It is layered like a quilt, with a cotton batting, cotton backing and quilted.

The left side panel was added by Gwen Gwinner of Willard, Ohio. She added crystals in the cotton fabric cityscape with tulle on top. She also quilted the entire quilt.
