I love collecting fragments of antique textiles and that was the inspiration behind my design for this hooked rug. The pattern is a section of what could be a larger design. It runs off the edges. It has fun. It invites your imagination to color outside the lines. The paisley is reminiscent of oriental carpets with a brighter twist. Dusty pink and turquoise, brown and a bit of green. All on a milky tea toned background. Use this piece as a carpet, a throw or mat on a bed or table, or hang it as an art piece.

Materials: A combination of recycled and new wool hand hooked on a linen back. I bound the edges with a wool yarn that has just a bit of mohair.

Measurements: 36" x 24.5"
