I constructed this entirely with hand stitching and used all-vintage or antique materials: Bedouin embroidery, lace, wool strums, and antique military button. The purposeful primitive stitching in contrast to the fine raspberry embroidery and rich chocolate brown material is beautiful, I think. I love this piece!
