Turning the Corner
I am on the verge of change.
Perhaps it is the dawn of my sixth decade that has made me throw abandon to the wind. Many endeavors, pursued to intricacy, are packed away or discarded as I move to a random pace.
Experimentation is a way of life for me. I am happiest when I think of mixing disparate objects and different techniques. I am in the moment when I work. Some days it may be structured and goal directed, other days are free floating whims.
Unifying principles for me are color, texture and balance. I try to stay true to those values and find the beauty in every object.
My skills and interests are weaving, spinning, dyeing, knitting and vintage.
To create interesting textiles that reflect the winds of change.
