Dear Threads of Peru supporters,

It’s August and 2016 is already 2/3 gone!

We at Threads of Peru like to celebrate this special time of year by offering a Gratitude Sale to our wonderful community of supporters. Your purchase from our website is rewarding in more ways than one: you get a traceable, sustainably made item that holds the magical energy of the Andes in its every fiber, AND you have the knowledge that you are supporting a lifestyle worth protecting.

We are thankful to the Pachamama for bringing us together with the Andean Weaving Communities- and showing us that we can use our complementary strengths to make a real difference. We are grateful, too, for having our own lives enriched by this ancient weaving tradition that takes its knowledge and resources directly from the Source: the Pachamama herself!

And so we extend Our Annual Gratitude To The Pachamama.  Take 10% off any item on our website from now until August 31st by entering the code PACHAMAMA at checkout.

As always, we are Thankful to the Pachamama, to our communities and to our supporters!

-From all of us at Threads of Peru

News from the Andes
The Threads of Peru blog highlights what our team has been up to over the mid-year months. We’ve been keeping the blog since TOP’s inception in 2009 to journal updates in the communities we work with and educate the world about weaving traditions.

Our most recent blog post describes the positive impact you have with your purchasing power, and the beauty of supporting the traditional weaving lifestyle in remote Andean Communities.

Our lovely Sarah Confer gave an inspiring seminar on Andean Textiles back on July 7th. Sarah shared her knowledge about the creation of Andean Textiles from start to finish!

In our Healthy Lifestyle blog post, we discuss how the use of natural fiber in clothing and in home décor contributes to the wellbeing of you and your family.

Finally, we believe that at Threads of Peru we are doing our small part to bring an ancient legend, that of the eagle and the condor, to life.
