I am Andrea Korotky and A. Korotky Studio is a weaving and textile design studio where all kinds of cloth is handwoven, adapted to different uses, painted, and embellished, and sold directly to clients.

When you look at my About page at my website, you’ll receive an open invitation to stop in at my studio for a free, hour-long visit to learn about weaving and try out looms. This invite is good from February through June every year. I’ve learned that may knitters are very interested in weaving. I’m glad to demonstrate how to use knitting yarns on Cricket looms, and I have lots of examples of my own work in this area.

Teaching weaving to people of all ages and backgrounds is a great joy. Everyone learns in a slightly different way, and I like to make things easy for those starting out. I’m a Schacht dealer too, and help people chose looms from the latest Schacht catalogue. I keep 15-inch Cricket looms in stock, and can easily place orders for looms large and small. And when a weaver wants to take the next step, whether it’s learning tapestry techniques, or planning to purchase a floor loom, I am happy to help.

During my annual open studio I welcome walk-ins, show and sell my work, and encourage people to try their hand at weaving. And every now and then I gather friends and stage one of my Weaving In Public events. Fun is at hand! And weaving is good for you! Weave on!
