I am a SAORI freestyle weaver and designer, creating one-of-a-kind asymmetric clothing, scarves, wraps, bags and wall hangings in the SAORI style.

In my studio in the woods on Salt Spring Island, I offer classes, workshops and retreats and am inspired by the ever changing colours and textures of nature that surround me. The video to the left shows you the beauty of our island. We have a cottage available for rent for retreats.

I have also had over 1500 people Weave for Peace on beautiful Peace Banners that have been displayed around the world.

My background is in traditional weaving, having studied at Grant McEwan and Olds college in Alberta, Canada. In 2005 I discovered the SAORI freestyle approach to weaving and have since explored SAORI in Canada, the USA and Japan.

I love the freedom of the SAORI way.

We love hearing from our community!
