Word Houses are made of repurposed materials and hand dyed and commercial fabrics applied to a semi rigid stabilizer, outside and inside. The houses represent a thought or action word which is embroidered somewhere inside for inspiration. The houses are embellished with vintage buttons, beads and other findings that create small vignettes. They are supported by vintage knitting needles bent into a foundation. The parts are machine and hand stitched. They stand 8 inches high and 6 inches wide and deep. (20.32 x 15.24 cm)
Price includes shipping. Word houses are shipped ready to display. They will be carefully padded and boxed.
Custom orders available. The embroidery can be personalized…i.e. dates, names, choose a word.
