TAFA’s Felt Photo Contest – October 2015
Our October 2015 Felt Photo Contest is over!
(Click on the images to visit their sites.)
Your photo must feature the felting technique in some way. Felting is defined as a nonwoven fabric of wool, fur, or hair, matted together by heat, moisture, and great pressure. Wet felting, needle felting, nuno felting, and all contemporary and traditional techniques are welcome! Fulling, the shrinkage of a woven wool fabric is also allowed, as well as the use of commercial felts into a handmade product.
You are allowed to photoshop your image and make it into art. In other words, you can manipulate the photo in any way you want, but the story that is being told is about a woven product. You must own your photo and the work shown. Vintage is allowed. Collages are NOT allowed. (The photo must be one seamless image.) Watermarks are allowed on the photo, but cannot be in the center of the image and should be like a signature, not taking over the image.
Please Read the Rules!
Photos that do not follow them will be deleted!
